Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to be released on **November 19, 2026**, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

### Key Details:
* **Release Date:** The game launches on November 19, 2026. Players who pre-order any version of the game (Standard or Ultimate) can begin pre-loading the game starting November 12, 2026.
* **Unlock Schedule:** The release is expected to follow a "local midnight" rollout, meaning the game will unlock at midnight local time in various regions, rather than at a single global moment. This creates a staggered launch window spanning approximately 19 hours, beginning with regions like New Zealand and rolling westward.
* **Platforms:** The initial release is for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version is anticipated to follow at a later date, likely by the end of 2027.
* **Soundtrack:** An official soundtrack album, *Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album*, featuring 34 original tracks, has been announced for release alongside the game.

Rockstar Games has emphasized that the November 2026 date was chosen to ensure the game reaches the level of polish expected for the highly anticipated return to the state of Leonida and modern-day Vice City.
