lioness season 4

As of September 21, 2026, *Paramount+ has not officially renewed Lioness for a fourth season*.

While there is no official green light yet, here is the current status of the series:

• Cast and Crew Optimism: Despite the lack of an official announcement, those involved with the show are highly confident that it will return. Jill Wagner (who plays Bobby and serves as a producer) has publicly expressed her certainty, even joking that she would pay $100 if the show does not get a fourth season.
• Behind-the-Scenes Activity: There are signs that production may be moving forward. It was recently reported that writers Michael and Lily Idov have joined the team as writers and supervising producers, which is viewed as a strong indicator that work on the show's future is underway.
• Narrative Setup: The Season 3 finale, which aired on September 20, 2026, ended on a significant cliffhanger. The revelation that Aaliyah Amrohi was the mastermind behind Joe’s kidnapping sets the stage for a potential revenge-driven plotline in a future season.
• Potential Timeline: Paramount+ has historically taken time to announce renewals for the series; for example, Season 3 was not officially confirmed until about 10 months after the Season 2 finale. Should the show be renewed, industry speculation suggests a potential release in 2027 or 2028, depending on the busy schedules of lead stars like Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, as well as Taylor Sheridan’s other projects.

Fans are encouraged to wait for an official announcement from Paramount+ regarding the series' future.
